Local Pages Engine

What it does, in full.

The complete feature set, and, just as deliberately, the things it refuses to do.

Every capability, and what each one is for.

Each feature earns its place by making a page more defensible, never just more numerous. The free core does the real work. Pro adds enforcement, scale, and an optional AI assistant.

Real WordPress pages, not virtual ones

Every page is a genuine post you can open in the block editor and rewrite by hand. They survive deactivation intact, because the content is baked in, never rendered on the fly.

Editable
82

A 0 to 100 Quality Score

Computed in pure PHP on save, with a plain-English fix list.

Deterministic variation

Siblings never read identically. Variation blocks rotate from a seed of the service and area, so the same page regenerates the same way, every time.

The trust slot

A required local slot on every page

Each page starts with an empty, named slot asking for something true about that town. It weighs heavily in the score and stays empty until a human fills it, so no two pages can fake their way to local.

Add something specific about Newick
Our nearest engineer is based two streets from the Green, so call-outs to the Newick conservation area rarely wait past the same afternoon.

Your server, only

No API calls, no telemetry, no CDN. Your client data never leaves the install.

Schema that behaves

Service and area-served JSON-LD, plus breadcrumbs. Detects Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO and SEOPress and steps aside rather than doubling up.

Sync that never overwrites your edits

Change the blueprint and managed blocks update across pages, while any block a human has touched is left exactly as it was. You get a per-page diff before anything moves.

A portfolio Safety Check

The per-page score checks one page. The Safety Check reads every managed page at once and gives a plain doorway-risk verdict for the whole site, naming the pages that read too alike so you can fix them before a search engine finds them.

Twin Finder

Open any page and the editor highlights the exact sentences it shares with its closest sibling. You see precisely which lines are making it a near-duplicate, so you know what to rewrite instead of guessing.

Pro

An optional AI assistant

Off by default. Switch it on and it can reword a sentence Twin Finder flagged, or suggest local questions for you to answer. It runs in your browser where the device allows, otherwise through our relay, which sends only that one sentence and your own notes to a paid model that does not train on them. It reshapes what you wrote, never invents a fact, and never publishes on its own.

Pro

Enforce the gate across the whole site

Pro turns the advisory gate into a hard one, adds bulk generation and re-scoring, scheduled publishing, and related links ordered by real geographic distance.

What the 100 is actually made of.

The Quality Score is not a black box. It adds up to 100 from three measurable parts, and the breakdown always tells you exactly what to fix and where.

Sibling similarity

Compares 5-word shingles against sibling pages. Too alike and the points fall away.

45

Local substance

The local slot filled, an area descriptor, and a genuine local signal like a map or an FAQ.

35

Thin-content floor

Enough genuine words, one clean H1, and a meta description set.

20
82/100

The default threshold is 60, adjustable in settings and filterable in code. Below it, the page is held back with a list of what to fix.

What it refuses to do.

These are not missing features. They are the design.

No AI-generated pages

The engine writes nothing with AI. Every page is your blueprint and your own real local detail. The optional Pro assistant only reshapes sentences you wrote yourself, and never generates a page.

The engine calls no one’s API

The scorer, the gate and the schema all run in pure PHP on your own server. The only feature that ever reaches out is the optional AI assistant, and only the moment you ask it to.

No virtual pages

Every page is a real, saved WordPress post. Nothing is rendered on the fly or vanishes when the plugin does.

No automatic publishing

Nothing goes live on its own. A human clears the gate and presses publish, and the AI assistant cannot publish either.

No tracking, of your visitors or of you

No telemetry, no analytics, no phoning home. The same is true of this website.

Plain answers

Does the plugin send my data anywhere?

The free plugin does not: everything runs on your own WordPress install, with no external API calls, no AI services and no telemetry. Pro adds one optional feature that can reach out, the AI content assistant, and only when you switch it on and use it. Even then it sends just the single sentence you are rewriting and the facts you typed, either to your browser's on-device model or to a paid AI service that does not train on it. Nothing else leaves your site, and this website carries no telemetry either.

What happens to generated pages if I deactivate the plugin?

Nothing. Generated pages are real WordPress pages and stay intact, editable and rendering, including their internal links, which are written into the saved markup at generation time.

Will it conflict with my SEO plugin?

No. Yoast SEO, Rank Math, All in One SEO and SEOPress are detected at render time. When one is active, the plugin suppresses its own meta description and emits only the Service schema piece, referencing your SEO plugin's organisation data.

Can it overwrite content I have edited?

No. The moment you edit a generated block, that block is yours. The sync flow updates only untouched blocks and shows a per-page preview before anything is applied.

Why did publishing my page get blocked?

Its Quality Score is below your threshold and you have Pro's enforcement switched on. The pre-publish checklist lists exactly what to fix, usually filling the local content slot, writing an area descriptor, or making the copy less similar to a sibling page.

Build local pages you would be happy to stake your name on.

Design one blueprint. The gate holds back anything thin until a human makes it local.
